Challenge

Harlem has long been known for its intimate jazz clubs, soul food institutions, and African-American heritage. It’s a neighborhood that draws diverse crowds of locals and visitors, but it’s often overlooked compared to the other New York City locales.

Harlem has a rich story to tell if you listen.

We highlight the rich culture coming from this corner of the city by taking you on a trip through iconic spots and experiences Harlem has to offer. Our spot features a girl who is guided through this journey of discovery around the neighborhood by the sounds of the city coming to life, and the music from Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings.
This project was shot on one afternoon using a Sony A7III camera and a DJI RSC-2 gimbal.
